Police have confirmed a missing Aberdeen woman has been traced. Debra Brodie, 47, who was last seen in the Westburn Road area about 2.40pm today,  has now been found. Police have thanked the public for their help with this matter.

Missing Aberdeen man traced safe and well


A missing Aberdeen man has been found safe and well. Allan Grant was reported missing from the Westburn Road area of the city since Tuesday. However, officers have this afternoon confirmed the 43-year-old has been traced safe and well.

Probe launched after fires in Aberdeen community


Police are investigating a series of fires in an Aberdeen community overnight. A car caught fire on Mile End Avenue at around 5am, and wheelie bins were also burned in gardens on Westburn Road. Officers have confirmed they are investigating the incidents. More to follow.

Police called to Aberdeen roundabout after four-vehicle crash


Police were called to an Aberdeen road after a four-vehicle collision. According to police, officers were called to the scene at the six-roads roundabout at around 1.25pm. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Nobody was injured. Two vehicles were extensively damaged in the collision.”

Have you seen missing north-east man Daniel McAllan?


Police are appealing to help trace a missing north-east man. Daniel McAllan, 69, was last seen on Aberdeen’s Westburn Road about 8:30am yesterday. He is described as 5ft 6ins tall, stocky build with short grey hair and walks with the aid of a stick. He wears glasses and struggles with his words during speech.

Woman held after incident at Aberdeenshire Council headquarters


A woman is in custody after an incident near Aberdeenshire Council’s headquarters this afternoon. The incident took place on Westburn Road at around 2.50pm. A Police Scotland spokeswoman confirmed that officers were called to the scene and a woman was taken into custody. There is no immediate threat to the public, the spokeswoman added.
