Aberdeen to Edinburgh service cancelled after train develops fault

An Aberdeen train has been cancelled this morning after it developed a fault. The 9.07am service from the Granite City to Edinburgh was cancelled before departure according to the ScotRail website. It had been due to call at Laurencekirk, Montrose, Arbroat, Dundee, Leuchars and Haymarket before terminating in Edinburgh at 11.35am.

Rail commuters to face delays after fault

Trains between Aberdeen – Inverurie/Inverness will be delayed this morning due to a signalling fault. Due to a signalling fault in Keith, which has now been resolved,  ScotRail trains travelling between Aberdeen and Inverurie/Inverness can expect delays until around 8.30 this morning. Commuters are advised to check their journey before travelling.
