A drink driver has been jailed for three years after causing a 70mph head-on crash with a taxi full of Hogmanay revellers.
A man has been charged after a two-car crash in Aberdeen. The collision happened at around 4am yesterday on Riverside Drive near to the Queen Elizabeth Bridge. It involved two vehicles. Police Scotland has confirmed a 27 -year old-male has been charged in connection with the incident and will appear in court “in due course”.
Motorists are facing rush-hour delays on roads across the North-east this morning.
AN Aberdeen bridge which was partially blocked by a broken down lorry has now been cleared.
