Two hurt after crash on Aberdeen road


Two people have been injured in a crash on a North-east road. Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident on B979 between Peterculter and Milltimber at 9.10am. A police spokeswoman said a male and a female had suffered minor injuries. The incident involved a white Toyota Hilux and a grey Audi A7.

Aberdeenshire Council is handing out sandbags.

Sandbags issued to Aberdeen homeowners


Sandbags have been issued to people living in Aberdeen. The city council has issued the bags to those in Peterculter. It’s expected the Culter Burn will burst its banks tonight due to the persistent rain. As a result, Aberdeen City Council has given sandbags to those living in the Millside and Paddock areas of Peterculter.
