Three cars crash on busy Aberdeen road

Tailbacks have been caused after a three-car crash in Aberdeen. The incident happened on Lang Stracht at its junction with North Anderson Drive this morning. Minor congestion has been caused after the road was partically blocked. A Scottish Ambulance Service crew was at the scene. It is not believed any serious injuries were caused.

Crews called out after crash on Aberdeen road

Emergency crews have been called out after a crash between a car and a motorbike on a city road this afternoon. Three fire engines, as well as ambulance and police units also attended the scene on the Lang Stracht outside Lidl. The incident took place just after 2.15pm. More to follow

Traffic light catches fire in Aberdeen

An emergency crew was sent out after a traffic light caught fire in Aberdeen. The Scottish and Fire and Rescue Service was made aware of the incident on the Lang Stracht at around 12.45am. One fire engine was sent to the scene and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze using one hose reel jet.

Two vehicles crash on busy Aberdeen road

Emergency crews have been called to a two-vehicle crash on a busy Aberdeen road. The crash happened on the Lang Stracht at the junction with Springhill Road just before 2pm today. No one is believed to be injured at this stage.

Motorists advised to take care after fuel spill on Aberdeen road

MOTORISTS are being advised to take extra care today following a fuel spill on a busy Aberdeen road. Aberdeen City Council is dealing with the spillage, which happened just after 9am on the Lang Stracht. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We would advise motorists to take extra care in the area.”

Missing Aberdeen woman traced ‘safe and well’

A missing Aberdeen woman has been found safe and well this morning. Wilma Allan had last been seen in the Lang Stracht area of Aberdeen at around 4.30am yesterday. However, Police Scotland have confirmed that the 63-year-old has been traced.
