Traffic lights have failed

Delays as traffic lights fail on Aberdeen road


Motorists faced delays this morning due to a faulty set of traffic lights on a busy Aberdeen road. The incident, involving the lights at the junction of Lang Stracht and Stronsay Drive, was reported at around 8.30am. However, Aberdeen City Council confirmed the lights had been fixed shortly before 10am.

Missing Aberdeen man found safe and well


Police have traced a missing Aberdeen man. Robert Tytler, 58, was last seen on Sunday morning at around 8.30am in the Lang Stracht area of the city, but he has now been found safe and well. Police have thanked the public for their assistance.

Three cars crash on busy Aberdeen road causing tailbacks


Three cars have crashed on a busy Aberdeen road. The collision happened outside Lidl on the Lang Stracht. Police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene at around 3.30pm. The incident has caused tailbacks on the road. More to follow

Three cars crash on busy Aberdeen road


Tailbacks have been caused after a three-car crash in Aberdeen. The incident happened on Lang Stracht at its junction with North Anderson Drive this morning. Minor congestion has been caused after the road was partically blocked. A Scottish Ambulance Service crew was at the scene. It is not believed any serious injuries were caused.

Crews called out after crash on Aberdeen road


Emergency crews have been called out after a crash between a car and a motorbike on a city road this afternoon. Three fire engines, as well as ambulance and police units also attended the scene on the Lang Stracht outside Lidl. The incident took place just after 2.15pm. More to follow
