One lane closed on Aberdeen road due to broken down lorry

Police called to crash on north-east road

Emergency services have attended a one-car crash on a north-east road. A white Fiat 500 car left the road on the A947 between Dyce and Newmachar shortly before 11am. A police spokeswoman said nobody had been injured in the crash and confirmed recovery of the vehicle had been arranged.

Broken down bus causes delays on Aberdeen road

Rush-hour commuters are facing delays heading into Aberdeen this morning. Traffic is queued along a city-bound section of the A96, between Craibstone and Bucksburn. It’s understood the delays are being caused by a broken down bus near the Dyce Drive junction.

Free sports sessions for Aberdeen kids

Children can join in a free sports session at Kingsford School in Mastrick from 7.30pm to 9pm tomorrow. The Denis Law Streetsport scheme takes place there every Tuesday – and will also take place at the Central Park astroturf in Dyce from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Tuesdays starting next week.
