Energy giant BP has used technology designed to maximise oil production offshore for the first time, as it began pumping oil from a new development west of Shetland.
Construction workers were called to muster after a safety incident on BP’s Clair Ridge platform. The oil major’s project is currently being constructed west of Shetland. It is believed there was a small fire which triggered alarms at around 4.20pm yesterday. For the full story, visit Energy Voice.
