Porsche has launched itself into a new niche section of the market with its latest model – the Cayenne Coupe.
What is it? This is Skoda looking at vehicles such as the Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 and saying ‘nope, our way is better’. Skoda is already very good at making SUVs – its Kodiaq and Karoq are serious class contenders – while its vRS performance division has a small but very loyal following. The obvious solution, then, is to combine the two and let vRS loose on the largest car on Skoda’s range – the Kodiaq SUV.
Volkswagen has added a petrol engine to its Touareg range, bolstering the SUV’s previously all-diesel line-up.
What is it? Quite simply one of the most famous badges, and possibly the most famous sports car of all time. The Porsche 911’s been with us in one form or another for decades now, and in that time it’s developed a reputation for delivering a pure enthusiast’s driving experience.
