Around £250 million of taxpayers’ cash has so far been spent on keeping ScotRail and Caledonian Sleeper trains running during the coronavirus pandemic, it has been revealed.
Rail services linking Aberdeen to London were expected to be distrupted again today as industrial action continued for a second day.
The service runs an Aberdeen to London route.
Rail bosses have said they are “deeply disappointed” after staff on the Caledonian Sleeper service announced they would take strike action.
