Motorists advised to take care after fuel spill on Aberdeen road


MOTORISTS are being advised to take extra care today following a fuel spill on a busy Aberdeen road. Aberdeen City Council is dealing with the spillage, which happened just after 9am on the Lang Stracht. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We would advise motorists to take extra care in the area.”

Aberdeenshire to help 50 family groups from Syria


ABERDEENSHIRE Council has agreed to accommodate 50 families groups from Syria. It comes just a day after Aberdeen City Council announced it was ready to help 100 refugees. Now Aberdeenshire has stepped in to help following a meeting with councillors today. Current plans will see Scotland looking after 2,000 refugees.

Teenager hit by car on Aberdeen road


A teenager has been hit by a car in a residential area of Aberdeen. The incident happened at around 6.10pm in the Fairview Manor area of Bridge of Don. The 18-year-old suffered a grazed leg in the collision.
