Car and van crash on north-east road


Police were today called to a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a van on a north-east road. The incident happened on the A944 around 12.50pm near Westhill and the roundabout junction with the AWPR. A police spokeswoman said nobody was injured in the collision.

Police called to Aberdeen road after two-vehicle collision


Police have been called to a busy north-east road after a two-vehicle crash. It happened at just before 1.15pm on the A944 near Westhill. Police said officers have been called to the scene, but were unable to provide further information about the crash.

Miles Burnett is accused of driving at excessive speeds for the conditions and overtaking another vehicle in a built-up area on approach to a traffic island, disregarding a “keep left” sign.

Motorbike and lorry crash at Aberdeen roundabout


A motorcycle and lorry have crashed near a busy Aberdeen roundabout. Police Scotland were called to the scene at the A944 Kingswells roundabout at 8.25am. There were not thought to be any serious injuries. A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Ambulance services are on their way and we are awaiting vehicle recovery.”
