An elderly woman has died after being hit by a vehicle near Perth. The incident happened on the A9 between Inveralmond and Broxden at about 2.25am on Sunday. Emergency services responded, but the 83-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Thoughts are with the family at this time.”
