ABERDEEN Lynx suffered penalty shoot-out heartache in their bid to reach the Scottish Cup final for the first time.
A capacity crowd of more than 1,000 were treated to a scintillating semi-final clash against Dundee Comets that went to an all-or-nothing shoot-out following a 5-5 draw.
A sell-out crowd packed the Linx arena.

Unfortunately Comets edged the shoot-out 3-2 to reach the final.
However, Lynx have an immediate opportunity to bounce back with the prestigious play-offs on Saturday.
The Lynx go head-to-head with Paisley Pirates at the Aberdeen Linx Ice Arena on Saturday in what is sure to attract another large crowd as ice hockey continues to become a major sport within the Granite City.
The following week Lynx travel to Braehead Arena on Sunday, March 29, for the second leg.
Tickets for the first leg are available online at www.aberdeenlynx.ticketsource.co.uk
