Walsall manager Darrell Clarke could rotate his squad against Salford despite the Saddlers going unbeaten for five games in all competitions.
Clarke has been impressed by his squad’s versatility during that run and will look for it to continue at the Banks’s Stadium.
Clarke could employ Zak Jules at left-back, James Clarke at right-back and also has versatile pair Liam Kinsella and Gary Liddle at his disposal.
Defender Kory Roberts will look to continue in the side following his recent return from injury.
Salford manager Graham Alexander will look for his side to bounce back from the 4-0 home defeat to Forest Green.
He will hope to have striker Luke Armstrong available following a bout of tonsilitis on top of a recent spell on the sidelines with injury.
On-loan defender Jack Baldwin could come into contention after Salford conceded four goals for the second successive game.
Defender Liam Hogan, midfielder Richie Towell and goalkeeper Chris Neal are expected to miss out.
