Police are searching for a gunman who shot a man dead while he waited for his son outside a Belfast school.
Jim Donegan, aged in his forties, was sitting in his luxury Porsche car when he was targeted in the gangland-style attack in front of scores of terrified children.
Mr Donegan was struck in the head and died at the scene, police confirmed.
St Mary’s Grammar School in west Belfast is closed and pupils will be offered counselling.
A gunman wearing a high-visibility vest with the word security emblazoned on the back left the scene on foot, detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland said.
