Two suspects fled the scene after drugs worth an estimated £150,000 were seized by police in Fife during a routine vehicle stop.
Road policing officers stopped a black Vauxhall Insignia on Strathkinnes Road, Kirkcaldy, at around 12.30pm on Tuesday.
They discovered a large quantity of cannabis as they searched the car.
Inquiries are ongoing to identify the occupants of the vehicle, who fled the scene.
Both men are described as being aged in their mid-20s to mid-30s and of eastern European descent.
One was dressed entirely in black and the other was wearing a grey top and a high visibility vest.
Detective Inspector Scott Davidson said: “This was a significant recovery and our inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 1439 of May 26.”
