A motorcyclist who died after his vehicle crashed with a car on Saturday has been named by police.
The crash involving a black Audi A4 and the black Honda motorcycle happened at the Baillieston Interchange in Glasgow at around 3pm.
Officers have now confirmed the man on the bike as Ian Wyatt from Glasgow.
The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other people injured in the incident.
Sergeant Roy McCarney said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Wyatt’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“We are continuing with enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the collision and we would like to speak to anyone who witnessed what happened who has not already spoken to officers.
“In particular we would like to speak to anyone who may have dash-cam footage that could help with our enquiries to get in touch.
“Anyone who can help our investigation is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2666 of Saturday, 30 May.”
