Man’s body recovered from Highlands shoreline

The body of a man has been recovered from a shoreline in the Highlands.

Police said they received a report about the body at 3pm on Sunday.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found on the shore line near the village of Brough, in Dunnet, Caithness.

HM Coastguard and the Scottish Ambulance Service also attended and assisted with recovery of the body.

The name of the man is not being disclosed until his next of kin have been informed.

Police Scotland said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances regarding his death.
