British manufacturer David Brown Automotive revealed its Speedback Silverstone Edition at the Geneva Motor Show today.
Limited to just 10 examples, the Speedback takes design inspiration from classic race cars of the 1960s.
A 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine produces close to 600bhp and can push the Speedback from 0-60mph in just 4.2 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 155mph. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
Based on the firm’s Speedback GT, the Silverstone Edition provides a more dynamic drive thanks to upgraded suspension, as well as a full dynamic stability control system. Performance brakes and an active rear differential have been added, too.
The body is handcrafted from aluminium, while the exhaust tips are inspired by fighter jets. Large 20-inch alloy wheels are unique to this car as well.
Both seats in the cabin are trimmed in leather, while a wood and metal inlay trim has been used for the dashboard. Leather and Alcantara have been applied to the steering wheel too, while the switchgear has been finished in brushed aluminium.
The Speedback also features a full infotainment system with satellite navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, with audio sent through a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system.
Prices for the Speedback Silverstone edition start at £620,000, and builds can be reserved now.
