Fitness fanatics have signed up to run on the runway at Aberdeen International Airport.
Three hundred runners have already pledged to take part in the June 30 event, which will see them complete two lengths of the runway, totalling 3.5km.
The Runway Run aims to raise money for Befriend a Child, Sue Ryder and Veterans with Dogs, with each participant required to raise at least £100 before taking part.
Runners are able to run as an individual or as part of a team, completing a leg of a marathon length run alongside 12 others.
Prizes are available for the fastest runners, as well as the top fundraisers, including a helicopter tour of Aberdeenshire and a stay in a luxury hotel.
Airport managing director Carol Benzie said: “We are very excited to host the Runway Run here at the airport.
“Three very worthwhile charities will benefit.”
