1983: Mr R Oliphant, of Fife, receives the Dales Trophy for his whippet from judge Mrs Ann Argyle.
1996: Dalmatian Lucy, held by owner Margaret Robertson, from Edinburgh, has her portrait done by Aberdeen artist Rodney Peace.
1991: Gizmo, a Chinese crested dog, owned by Moira Roy of Lhanbryde.
1985: English sheepdog Benjamin parades for the judge with owner Senga Greasley, from Dollar.
1988: Best of breed Wilson's Treeburn Country Magic with owners Ian and Anne Wilson, of Newburgh.
1984: Inverness sisters Marie, 11, and eight-year-old Angela Shepherd with their Afghan hounds, Dawn and Marcelle.
1983: Samoyed Crensa Silver Dollar was judged best-in-show. Gourdon's Ian Mackie receives the top award at the Music Hall.
1982: Best in show at Hazlehead was shown by Heather Michie, front left of North Deeside Road, Milltimber.
1983: Michelle Armstrong, 11, with Great Danes Cherry and Astra at the open show at Hazlehead.
1985: Moira Buchan, 11, of King Street, Burghead, with family spaniel Corrie.
1986: Fiona Waldie, 8, of Bridge of Don, with Daisy the white-haired dachshund and Melarter Niall, the wolfhound.
