Inverness golfer Russell Knox was not selected amongst the wildcards for the European team.
Darren Clarke named Lee Westwood, Martin Kaymer and Thomas Pieters as his three captain’s picks.
Best wishes to the @RyderCupEurope. Disappointed not to be joining you, but will be rooting you on.

World number 20 Knox finished 10th on the World Points list, ending up one place outside the automatic qualification spots.
And his disappointment was compounded when Clarke chose the world number 41 Pieters as his final wildcard.
The captain called the decision to pick between the Scot and the Belgian “incredibly difficult”.
The list of nine automatic entrants includes five rookies and Clarke made it clear he wanted experience as he chose Westwood and Kaymer.
This is the first time since 2010 that the European team hasn’t featured a Scottish player.
Aberdonian Paul Lawrie will join the team as one of Clarke’s vice-captains.
