Ice hockey fans still have time to get their hands on shirts worn by the Aberdeen Lynx – and donate money to a good cause.
The Granite City side are auctioning off their special orange third kit, pictured, worn in home fixtures during this year’s Scottish National League (SNL) Eastern Conference.
Proceeds from the auction of the one-off kits, which can be accessed via the Lynx’s facebook page, will go to Charlie House.
The north-east- based children’s charity supports babies, children and young people with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions.
A club spokesman said: “These shirts are a one-off, never to be produced again, so they are extra special.”
Bids will be accepted up until Sunday October 28 at 8pm, at which point the winners will be revealed.
The Lynx will next play against Kilmarnock Thunder in the Scottish Cup, before closing their Eastern Conference – or Stuart Robertson Cup – campaign with an away fixture against Dundee Tigers on November 3.
