A multi-million-pound football stadium on the outskirts of Aberdeen is taking shape.
Cove Rangers’ ground is currently under construction at Calder Park with work scheduled for completion by early next year.
So far the club has spent £1 million out of £4m on the development which will incorporate an artificial surface.
Keith Moorhouse, Cove Rangers chairman, said: “The stadium is going really well.
“We are all pleased with the progress which is being made and we are glad it is on schedule to be completed by February/March.
“Everyone at the club has done a great job to get to where we are.”
It was revealed in December last year that Aberdeen firm Balmoral Group signed a deal with the Highland League outfit to carry its name on the facility.
Keith added: “It is an exciting thing we have going here at Cove and I know everyone at the club is looking forward to getting into the new stadium next year.
“We have had to play at different grounds in the Highland League but it has been good to be just at Inverurie this season, however it will be even better when we have the new stadium.”
