Curl Aberdeen is to host the World Mixed Curling Championship later in the year.
On the back of the success of last year’s World Juniors, the Eday Road venue will again welcome some of the globe’s top talent.
The eight-day event will run from October 12 to 19 and Kate Caithness, president of the World Curling Federation, said: “Curl Aberdeen put on an excellent World Juniors in 2018 and I am delighted they’re eager to deliver another major international curling event.
“From the experience we had in Aberdeen in 2018, I am in no doubt this will be another memorable World Mixed Championship.”
Hosts Canada won the 2018 edition of the tournament.
Mixed curling rinks are made up of two males, two females and no alternate.
