Aberdeen Ladies left-back Rachael Small, pictured, has signed for SWPL rivals Hibs.
The 24-year-old is the fiancee of Hibs striker Martin Boyle.
Scotland cap Small recently moved to Edinburgh and admits she’s happy to have been taken on by Hibs. She said: “I’m very thrilled. Hibs are a big club in both men’s and women’s football.
“I’ve played against them for many years now and they’ve always been ranked as one of the top teams in Scotland.
“To play for them would be a privilege and I am looking forward to getting started.”
Small is only just back from a lengthy lay-off because of a knee injury. She accepts it could be tough forcing her way into the Hibs team.
Small said: “They have won the League Cup and are competing on all fronts.
“With Europe around the corner as well, everybody is fighting fit and going for places. It’s going to be a big task.”
