Boxing legend Nigel Benn is set to appear in Aberdeen later this year.
The former two-weight world champion will be in the Granite City on Friday November 30 at an event held by Elite Promotions.
During an illustrious career Benn successfully defended the WBC super-middleweight title a record nine times.
Benn, aka The Dark Destroyer, retired with a formidable record of 42 wins (35 by knock-out) and just five defeats.
His famous bouts against Chris Eubank were some of the most-watched sporting events of the 1990s.
There had been speculation in 2016 that the two rivals could meet in the ring again.
Aberdeen boxing fans will have a rare chance to get up close and personal with the ring legend with the opportunity for a meet-and-greet and photographs.
Benn won the WBO world middleweight title over Doug DeWitt in April 1990 at Atlantic City, United States.
He successfully defended the title against Iran Barkley to set up an all-British world title showdown against Eubank.
Benn lost the title to Eubank but would go on to win the WBC world super-middleweight title by defeating Mauro Galvano.
Following three successful title defences he again faced rival Eubank in a unification fight for the WBC and WBO world super-middleweight titles.
The bout, at Old Trafford, finished in a draw.
Benn would go on to make a further five successful defences of his WBC world title.
He lost the WBC world super-middleweight title in 1996 in a fight with Thulani Malinga. Following that fight he had back-to-back world title fights with Steve Collins, both defeats, before retiring.
