The Aberdeen Lynx are to hold open trials after the rules governing ‘import’ players were relaxed.
Previously, the Scottish National League (SNL) have restricted teams to only having British players in their squad.
However, ahead of next season, teams across Scotland will now be able to have one player of any other nationality on their roster.
After finishing second in the league last season and qualifying for the play-off finals weekend, the Lynx will be hoping to continue pushing for silverware.
In order to find the best local talent, the Lynx have announced to open trials, which will be open to everybody, ahead of the new league season, which gets underway in the autumn.
These will be held on Wednesday, June 28, and Wednesday, July 5, from 10pm at the Links Ice Arena.
The team are looking for players over 16 years old with experience of league or full-contact hockey.
