Sweden’s Henrik Stenson has won the Open Championship at Royal Troon by three shots.
Both Stenson and Phil Mickelson traded blows over 18 holes on the final day, as the Swede carded a eight-under-par 63 for 20 under overall, three shots clear of the American.
Meanwhile J.B. Holmes finished third on six under while Steve Stricker was fourth a shot behind.
Aberdeen’s Paul Lawrie finished on 10 over.
