A Euro 2016 steward has narrowly escaped injury after a pyrotechnic thrown onto the pitch exploded in inches in front of him.
The incident happened during the Czech Republic, Croatia game earlier this evening.

More than half a dozen flares or firecrackers were thrown from the Croatian end onto the pitch around the 85th minute.
Stewards were called to help clear the pitch before play could resume.
One steward was seen bending down to pick up one of the devices when it exploded.
Fighting in the stands continued throughout the final minutes of the game and after the final whistle.
The game finished 2-2 with Tomas Necid scoring in the 93rd minute for the Czech Republic.
