Formartine United have confirmed that two key players have signed new long-term deals.
Midfielders Callum Bagshaw and Calum Dingwall have both agreed new three-year contracts with the Pitmedden side.
United boss Kris Hunter, who revealed he is hoping to bring in three of four new faces this summer, said he was happy to tie the duo down to new deals.
“Calum Dingwall and Callum Bagshaw have both agreed new three-year deals,” Hunter said.
“They have come in and done really well lately to replace the players we have had missing with injuries.
“They didn’t play a lot at the start of the season, but towards the middle of the season they came in.
“Calum Dingwall’s form in particular was outstanding, while Callum Bagshaw also came in and did really well and scored a few important goals.
“They both deserve to get a new contract.
“We told every player it is up to themselves if they are going to win a new deal and those two certainly did that. They had a great appetite to play in the team.”
