
The Scottish Football Association has asked Northern Irish football’s governing body if they can speak to Michael O’Neill regarding the vacant Scots manager job, according to reports.
The national side have been without a permanent manager since Gordon Strachan left the role following the failed qualifying campaign for next year’s World Cup in Russia, with Malky Mackay taking temporary charge for a friendly against the Dutch at Pittodrie last week.
