Formartine United player-manager Paul Lawson admits he has a selection dilemma for tomorrow’s League Cup semi-final with Brora Rangers.
Lawson made a number of changes to his team for Saturday’s 2-1 win at Nairn County and was impressed by those who came in.
Now he knows he has a selection headache for the trip to Dudgeon Park.
Lawson said: “It does give me a selection dilemma and I guess that’s my own fault for making changes.
“But at the same time you want competition for places and you want to know you can trust boys to come in and do a job.
“They certainly did that on Saturday which is pleasing but it makes it difficult for Tuesday.”
On Saturday at Station Park Jordan MacRae fired Nairn ahead but goals from Archie Macphee and Connor Gethins turned things round before half-time.
The result keeps them in the top four and on course for Challenge Cup qualification.
Lawson added: “It was important the boys who came in did well.
“We showed good character coming from a goal down which was pleasing to see.
“The second half wasn’t a great game, the pitch wasn’t great, but it was comfortable in the end.”
