Peterhead are still considering whether they will allow on-loan Aaron Norris to play for Formartine United in the Scottish Cup.
Both sides are in second-round action this weekend.
The Blue Toon play Lowland League Kelty Hearts at Balmoor and Formartine make the trip south to face League Two Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill.
Midfielder Norris has been loaned to United from the Buchan side until January.
If the 20-year-old plays for Formartine in the cup it would make him ineligible to play for Peterhead at a later stage of the competition such as the fourth round if he is recalled in January.
The Blue Toon are facing a similar situation themselves with Ryan Dow, who is on loan from Ross County until the turn of the year.
The Staggies have requested that the midfielder doesn’t feature for Peterhead in the Scottish Cup because they may require him to play in the tournament later in the season.
But Peterhead are still considering whether they will request that Norris does not play for Formartine in the Scottish Cup this weekend.
