Aberdeen’s Shinnie in Scotland squad for UEFA Nations League opener

Aberdeen midfielder Graeme Shinnie has been included in the Scotland squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League opener with Albania at Hampden.

The new competition kicks off on September 10, with the national side set to play Belgium in a friendly three days before, also at Hampden.

Boss Alex McLeish has named a young squad, with Dons skipper Shinnie – who made his Scots debut against Peru in June – part of the 23-man contingent for both games.
