Banks o’ Dee co-manager Tommy Forbes felt they could have no complaints after defeat to Auchinleck Talbot in the Scottish Cup.
The Spain Park outfit were beaten 3-1 in the first preliminary round at Beechwood Park.
Jack Henderson put Dee ahead but goals from Calvin Kemp, Graham Wilson and Mark Shankland won it for the Ayrshire side.
Forbes said: “The frustrating thing from our point of view was that we started the game quite well.
“Then we got our goal, but the frustrating thing was we conceded about a minute after we scored.
“It was a great finish from their player, but from our point of view the concentration levels have got to be better.
“In the first half we asked them questions defensively, but in the second half they got two goals and won it. They have as good a keeper and back four as I’ve seen in Junior football for a long time.
“We had 10 players missing and if you look at what we had we didn’t disgrace ourselves.
“We have no complaints, we gave a good account of ourselves against what was a very strong team.”
