Harry Milne insists results are all that matter for Cove Rangers in their pursuit of the Highland League title.
The Aberdeen side face Strathspey Thistle tonight in the third of four games in an eight-day period.
John Sheran’s team are just three wins from the title if they can beat the Grantown Jags, Clachnacuddin on Saturday and rivals Fraserburgh next Wednesday.
After beating Rothes 2-0 on Monday, Milne says all that matters for Cove is getting the victories to take them to the title and into the League Two play-offs.
He said: “Results are the most important thing and someone was saying we could win it at Fraserburgh next Wednesday.
“We just need to keep on going and see what happens, they (Fraserburgh) might drop points.
“But the important thing is for us to keep winning because if we do we’ll win the league.
“It’s a busy week with four games in eight days.
“We just need to keep going, we’re at Harlaw Park, we know the pitch and there are no excuses.
“It’s a squad game and we’ve got plenty of boys who can come in and do a job.
“Against Rothes, I think it was pretty comfortable throughout.
“We were able to stay in second gear which was important because of the game tonight.”
