Paul Young wants Turriff United to kick-start their season against Strathspey Thistle tonight.
The Jags visit the Haughs and Turra midfielder Young wants to start building momentum after an inconsistent Highland League season.
Ross Jack’s side have 12 points from nine matches and sit ninth in the Highland League.
They are also looking to return to winning ways after a 4-1 Scottish Cup first round replay loss at Bonnyrigg Rose.
Young said: “We’ve had a tough run of late.
“But hopefully we’re coming into a spell of games where we should be picking up more points and hopefully, we can do that over the next four of five games.”
The 24-year-old also expects a difficult game from Strathspey who sit 17th in the league with only six points.
He added: “The league is a lot tighter this year than it was last year, so it’s going to be a tough game.”
