Fraserburgh manager Mark Cowie is pleased to be boosted by the return of strikers Gary Harris and Graham Johnston for tomorrow’s game against Huntly.
The Broch welcome the Black and Golds to Bellslea on Saturday with neither side having played since they were in Aberdeenshire Shield action on December 6.
With league matches cancelled for the last two weekends it has allowed key men Harris and Johnston to get back in the reckoning.
Cowie said: “That’s probably the one positive is that I now have Gary Harris and Graham Johnston back fit.
“Match sharpness won’t be quite there. But we’ve had a couple of bounce games so they are in consideration for starting places which is a boost for me having the likes of them back.
“Nobody likes having an extended period where you are training instead of having games. “It gets a bit too relaxed and with the disappointment of going all the way to Brora and having the game off we are really looking forward to getting back.”
Huntly manager Charlie Charlesworth has only had one game in charge since taking over due to the weather. But Cowie doesn’t think that makes them an unknown quantity and added: “I wouldn’t say they are unknown because we know their players.”
