Formartine United player-manager Paul Lawson thinks there is more to come from his side – despite beating Turriff United 4-1.
Ross Anderson fired Turra ahead at North Lodge Park but Gary Fraser, Ryan Stott, Stuart Anderson and Archie Macphee scored to make it two wins from two for the Pitmedden side.
Lawson said: “I’m very pleased because it was a very good performance.
“We started a bit sluggishly and they got their goal.
“But after that we played our way into the game and after we scored we were pretty comfortable.
“I think there is more to come, I think the boys know that as well.
“Losing the goal the way we did shows there is still a couple of things we can do better.
“But I have to be pleased and there were some really good performances and we played some really good football.”
