Fraserburgh’s players are determined to get back to winning ways against Rothes, according to assistant manager James Duthie.

The Broch (third in the league) make the trip to Mackessack Park after losing 2-1 to Keith at Bellslea, despite having plenty of chances to win the game.

Duthie said: “Even on Monday at training we had to lift the players after the game last week, because they were really down.

“One because of the performance and more so because of the amount of chances we had to win the game. We had enough chances to win two or three games but, if you don’t take them, it’s a harsh lesson.”

Elsewhere, new Huntly boss Charlie Charlesworth will have a watching brief as his side take on Strathspey Thistle at Christie Park. Player-coaches Martin, his son, and Gary McGowan will be in charge.
