Ross Jack praised Turriff after their 3-1 win at Nairn secured a return to the Highland League Cup semi-finals.
But the win was marred by a potentially serious neck injury to home keeper Dylan Maclean.
Robbie Allan and David Ross put Turra in front.
David Booth added a third before Maclean was stretchered off and rushed to hospital.
Nairn had two spot-kicks. Gary Kerr missed the first but Glenn Main scored the second on the rebound.
Jack’s first thoughts were for Maclean’s health but he was glad to get the result.
Jack, pictured, said: “We won professionally and comfortably, despite them having a couple of penalties.”
Zander Sutherland’s stoppage-time strike gave Brora a 3-2 cup win away at Huntly.
Gary McGowan’s strike and a Colin Williamson own goal were cancelled out by Kyle Macleod and Scott Graham.
Sutherland netted the winner while both Gavin Morrison and Neil McVitie were sent off.
In the Highland League, Fraserburgh romped to a 7-0 win at Strathspey.
Paul Campbell bagged a hat-trick as the Broch moved to fifth.
