John Sheran hailed Cove’s complete display after their 6-0 demolition over Wick Academy.
The Highland League champions cut the lead to Buckie at the top of the division to just three points.
Harry Milne grabbed a brace, while Blair Yule, Stuart Walker and Mitch Megginson all scored, with an own goal completing the scoring.
Sheran praised Cove’s defensive solidity and was very happy with their offensive prowess.
He said: “We’ve never really been a team that scores eights or nines but we took our chances that came along.
“It was good to see and second half, we just picked them off.
“The pleasing thing is we are spreading the goals around so we are not just relying on one player.”
Leaders Buckie left it late to secure a 1-1 home draw with Fraserburgh.
Paul Campbell notched for the visitors before Donnie Munro scored in the late stages to keep Buckie’s unbeaten run going.
Lossie kept their fine season going with a 5-0 thumping of Fort William.
Clach extended their unbeaten run to six games with a 2-0 home win over Inverurie Locos.
