Fraserburgh manager Mark Cowie is targeting three points against Inverurie Locos to stay in the mix at the top of the Highland League.
The Broch have made a fine start taking 20 points from nine games to sit second in the table, two points behind leaders Cove.
After thumping an under-strength Fort William 10-0 on Saturday, Cowie wants another three points to stay on Cove’s tail.
He said: “It is a good start and normally that start would put you top of the league, but Cove are brushing aside anything that’s put in front of them. “We know there’s a long way to go, we just need to make sure we stay in the mix.
“We’re hoping to get a result against Inverurie to keep us up there with Cove and Brora, and it would give us a nice gap on Inverurie as well.”
Locos boss Neil Cooper is looking to make it six league wins in a row.
He said: “I’m delighted with our run.
“But it will be tough tonight, Fraserburgh have started really well in the league.
“We’re two points behind them but the incentive for us is to win to try to get above them in the league.”
