Peterhead have today bolstered their squad with the signing of central midfielder Scott Brown.
The Blue Toon have snapped up the former St Johnstone player on a contract until the end of the season.
Brown was at Bradford City before the Saints and had a loan spell with Dumbarton during the first half of last campaign before being released by the McDiarmid Park outfit at the end of last term.
He impressed Balmoor boss Jim McInally as a trialist in a friendly match against Lossiemouth on Tuesday.
The manager said: “Scott did well against Lossiemouth and we’re pleased to sign a player of his quality.”
McInally also revealed that Brown would be in contention to appear in Saturday’s game against League One’s bottom placed side Stranraer, who have yet to pick up a point this season.
