DONS boss Derek McInnes today urged the Red Army to pack out Pittodrie to give Russell Anderson the send-off he deserves.
Skipper Anderson will lead out the Dons for the last time against St Johnstone tomorrow.
After 407 appearances the 36-year-old will retire to take up a back-room role as Business Development Executive at Pittodrie.
The Dons have reduced prices in a bid to maximise crowds to ensure the centre-back receives a rousing send-off.
McInnes said: “We want a full house for Russell. It is a game we want to win to send the supporters home happy to reflect on a good season.
“We have an obligation to win the game and that is what we train for.
“But the most important thing tomorrow is Russell.
“He will start against St Johnstone and it is an opportunity for everyone to show their appreciation for a player who has given great service.”
