GOTHENBURG Great Sir Alex Ferguson has been inducted into Aberdeen FC’s Hall of Fame.
The Pittodrie club officially recognised the 73-year-old at an awards ceremony at the Marcliffe Hotel.
Sir Alex led Aberdeen to the European Cup Winners’ Cup and Super Cup in 1983.
Aberdeen remain the only Scottish club to have won two European trophies.
During his time at Pittodrie Sir Alex won three league titles, four Scottish Cups and the League Cup.
Aberdeen chairman Stewart Milne presented Sir Alex with his award at the Hall of Fame dinner in front of 360 guests.
