
Highland League side Inverurie Loco Works have named former Aberdeen striker Darren Mackie as player/coach.
The forward started the season with Turriff United but has switched to join the Harlaw Park side.

The 34-year-old scored 69 goals in 364 games in all competitions for Aberdeen over a 13-year stretch.
The appontment comes just eight days after co-manager Kenny Coull resigned.
Mackie will support manager Scott Buchan as Inverurie look to improve on their start to the season.
Locos sit 16th out of 18, with two points in their opening five league games.
Mackie will be on the bench for tonight’s game against Huntly.
