Former Aberdeen loan keeper Adam Collin has agreed to sign for League Two Notts County.
The 31-year-old made three appearances for the Dons while on loan from Rotherham for the second half of last season.
Collin was a free agent as his deal with the Championship side was up in the summer and not renewed.
Collin was secured by the Dons following the early departure of Danny Ward back to Liverpool in January after a successful loan spell.
With Scott Brown number one, Collin had to wait three months for his debut, in a 4-1 win over Motherwell on April 30.
Brown was released at the end of the season and boss Derek McInnes is in the market to sign a new keeper.
Collin would start against Celtic (3-2 loss) and Hearts (1-0 loss) before being replaced by Australian U23 cap Aaron Lennox in the final game of the campaign.
He admitted his time at Pittodrie did not work out as planned.
Collin said: “It was frustrating.
“I went up there to play but had to sit for 12 games on the bench.
“It’s just a frustrating period of time because I had the chance to go to one or two other clubs and play games and knocked those back to go to Aberdeen.
“That didn’t work out, but I played three times and against Celtic, which was a massive game. “There were highs and lows.”
